However there is a four player online co-op which is different mode then Story. NamesFrankWest • 6 yr. ago. The only co-op is the 4 player online co-op which has nothing to do with the main story.
Didnt play DR2 in co-op, but I think DR1 is abit tougher then 2 because of a couple things. While DR2 has combo weapons and DR1 does not, I think that its balanced out abit by Frank having some very useful moves on higher levels (ahem, double lariat, roundhousekick) which I think Chuck lacks.

I'm mainly just looking for some very clear clarification on how easy it is or isn't to drop in, drop out, or restart a game, while at the same time switching in and out of single player & co-op, but keeping one's stats and levels.
