Nah not on the engine. I've had a MK7 GTI 140k miles, MK7 R at 102k miles, both stage 1 no issues with reliability. No engine CELs. With that said, the rest of the car will eventually feel the wear. You will wear out engine mounts, suspension, control arm bushings, etc quite a bit sooner. The extra boost *might* cause your turbo to fail at
